The great thing about the course is that it is specifically tailored to our industry, which goes above and beyond anything else we have seen. We learned so much on the course and Joey's insights and many years of experience in the industry ensured we all came away with a much deeper understanding of relevant safeguarding practice then anything we had done prior. 10/10 would recommend!

All of the coaching Staff at JLDC had a great afternoon with Joey learning about the importance of Safeguarding within our Academy. It was especially an eye opener for the younger coaches that learnt what role they play in ensuring the safety for all of our athletes and families. We left our training with so much new information to take in and ways to implement new systems within our business. We feel more confident and know what to look out for. We highly recommend this to anyone who works with young children and feel something like this should be compulsory.

Thank you for a very informative session, I felt at ease the whole time and never judged. On a personal note I love in person courses as it separates the chaos of normal life, but equally it was amazing to be able to do a course via zoom in these times and still get the same from it! I would 100% recommend Squad safe, it was a great way for us to cement our knowledge as a team and facilitate team conversations about our policies and incidents we have experienced as a club.

The course was excellent and appropriate for our industry. The content was in detail and Joey captured our attention for the whole session. She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and experienced. I was extremely happy with the course. I feel my coaches and assistants are now better equipped and more knowledgeable if an issue was to arise. I did have concerns re: delivering the course via zoom, but can confidently say the course was great.

The course was very well broken down into manageable topics that linked together seamlessly. Bringing in case studies and real examples, both from the trainer and our own experience made it much easier to contextualise the theory. The combination of slides and group discussion made it easy to disseminate the information and take it on board without being inundated with information. Knowing that our trainer has hands-on experience in our industry reassured me and gave me confidence in the teaching she was delivering

A fantastic course I would consider a necessity to complete if you work with children in sport. I would definitely recommend to anyone working in sport or children in general. Our trainer’s knowledge was excellent. Everything was presented and taught well, with good interaction and well adapted for Zoom. All topics were discussed in a relative scenario that we could potentially see in our industry and a real eye opener to less obvious areas of safeguarding.
